Our studio follows the local school schedule, so we will be closed for holidays that the school is closed. Fitness Class Descriptions:
Barre Fitness: Interested in achieving a dancer's physique without having to learn choreography? Sculpt your way to a ballerina body in this class! Classes feature exercises using the ballet barre that will tone your legs, lift your glutes, and strengthen your upper body and core. The class ends with a stretch to help you relax and to lengthen your muscles.
Barre/Core Strength: A spin on our popular Barre Fitness class. A blend of Mat Pilates, Barre techniques, and core strengthening exercises. Light weights will be used to sculpt and tone the body. Class always ends with a stretch!
Yoga: A series of poses designed to help the participant focus on breath control and mindfulness while promoting flexibility. Class ends with a guided meditation for relaxation.
Piloxing: A unique blend of the power, speed, and agility of boxing with exhilarating dance moves and the targeted sculpting and flexibility of Pilates.
Zumba: Ditch the workout, join the party! Zumba is back at Positions. This Latin-inspired, cardio dance class is open to new or experienced exercisers, Seniors, Baby-wearers, etc.
