Fitness Class Descriptions:
Barre Fitness: Interested in achieving a dancer's physique without having to learn choreography? Sculpt your way to a ballerina body in this class! Classes feature exercises using the ballet barre that will tone your legs, lift your glutes, and strengthen your upper body and core. The class ends with a stretch to help you relax and to lengthen your muscles.
Yoga: A series of poses designed to help the participant focus on breath control and mindfulness while promoting flexibility. Class ends with a guided meditation for relaxation.
Pound: POUND® is the world’s first cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums.
Sweat/Strength/Stretch: Focuses on a cardio warm-up, strength training with dumbbells and resistance bands, ending with a stretch. This class is a little bit of everything!
Zumba: Ditch the workout, join the party! Zumba is back at Positions. This Latin-inspired, cardio dance class is open to new or experienced exercisers, Seniors, Baby-wearers, etc.
Cardio Bootcamp: Get into great shape with bootcamp! Don’t let the word “bootcamp” intimidate you – this class is accessible for new and experienced exercisers. Students will be kept busy with circuits and stations, creating a great cardio and strength workout.
