Calendar 2026/2027

Below is the 2026/2027 Positions Dance Studio calendar. Our tuition fees are based on approximately 35 classes annually; these closures are built into the tuition schedule and the classes below cannot be made up. You may make up classes in the event of illness or family vacation. All make-up classes must be taken within 30 days of the absence and must be arranged with a receptionist. Make-up classes are permitted through March 31 only. The following schedule follows the Babylon Village School calendar to the best of our ability, with a couple of exceptions.

September 12: First Day of the 2026/2027 Dance Season

Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day: Monday, October 12, 2026 NO CLASSES

Thanksgiving: Wednesday, November 25 – Sunday, November 29, 2026 NO CLASSES

Window Show/Holiday Night of Shopping: Friday, December 4, 2026

Holiday Recess: Saturday, December 18, 2026 – Friday, January 1, 2027 NO CLASSES

Winter Recess: Monday, February 15 – Sunday, February 21, 2027 NO CLASSES

Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Monday, January 18, 2027 NO CLASSES

Spring Recess 1: Thursday, March 25 – Monday, March 29, 2027 NO CLASSES

Spring Recess 2: Monday, April 19 – Friday, April 23, 2027 NO CLASSES

Memorial Day Weekend: Saturday, May 29 - Monday, May 31, 2027 NO CLASSES

Recital Performances: TBA

Please note: We will be open on the following holidays for the 2026-2027 season: Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Veterans Day, Juneteenth

Note: Classes canceled by the studio due to inclement weather MAY be rescheduled but may not be made up. One snow day is built into each class in our tuition schedule. Any weather cancellations after one will be made up over a school break. We reserve the right to move classes online in the case of a disaster.
